While being all finished with my travels is bittersweet, it is so nice to be back in Copenhagen and be able to blog again regularly! I just started getting settled in to my new apartment with my also new roommate, more on that later, but I was so anxious to get this style post up from my time in Florence! All of the different cities I visited were amazing, but Florence was so nice because quite a few of my friends live there and the vibe was just so relaxed. On this day, I met up with my friend Steph in Piazza Signoria, where the replica of Michaelangelo’s David stands. Granted, it’s a pretty touristy area, but it was a good meeting spot and we also stayed and sketched one of the statutes for a bit before grabbing some coffee at a nearby cafe! I got a lot of good sketching in during my down time in Florence, and I’m excited to share them on the blog this week.

Another highlight of this day has to be that I wore my new bag out! I’ve always loved the structure + style of Celine bags, but let’s be honest…$$$. I spotted this perfect nano knock-off at the San Lorenzo leather market. I was pretty excited because a lot of the other bags were plain, so I was surprised to find this one with a print. Believe it or not I only brought one purse when I moved to Copenhagen, so I’m excited to add this cross body into my rotation!

As a longtime fan of designer Audrey Precious, I’ve followed her work for quite some time. She is a super talented, not to mention rad, lady running her brand of handmade clutches she designs and sews herself known as Preciously Mine. Not only has she built the business herself, she is always coming up with new styles and offering the coolest prints.

Another one of her talents are these outfit layouts she creates on Polyvore! I was so excited when she wanted to collab on an outfit for the creative girl, incorporating one of her designs [the Wu-Tang clutch]. Below you can check out our interview + shop the look!

Did you study design or fashion design, or are you self taught?

I would say both, but mostly self taught. I started sewing at 14 years old, taking sewing class from a seamstress in my town. I then went to fashion school for two semesters but I didn’t really like it. It took away my creativity and I dropped out. That’s when I taught myself how to make bags!

How long does a typical piece take? Do you have any assistance?

It’s really hard to tell. On a good day, I can make a clutch in 30 minutes, on another, it can take me over an hour to make a purse! My husband helps me a lot!

What inspires you most?
I’m inspired from all kind of art! From painting to tattooing, from fashion shows to nature!

What’s in store for the future of Preciously Mine? Any dreams?

There is a lot of new things to come! We are working on a big collaboration right now. You will have to stay tuned to find out! The ultimate dream would be to have Preciously Mine in retail stores!

Thank you so much to Audrey for creating this rad look and sharing a bit about her brand! Don’t forget to check out her line on her website + follow her Instagram accounts @audreyprecious and @preciouslymine to keep up with her adventures and cute goods!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! x. Paige

Feel like you’ve seen this cardigan recently? Or maybe a lot of these pieces. Well…living out of a suitcase will do that to your wardrobe! I’ve had this cardigan on heavy rotation with all of my favorite graphic tees, but I was grateful not having to cover it all up with a big coat while in Madrid! One little trick I have [which you can see in the first photo] I snuck a thermal top under my tank top and cardigan to stay a little bit cozier while site seeing. The farther we get through our trip, the warmer it gets, which makes me a happy camper! And I’m looking forward to changing up my outfits a bit more!

This location was at an Egyptian temple, relocated to a spot in Madrid’s city center. We had just seen the royal palace as well, but let’s be honest, a big part of Madrid for us was the food :] We ate our way through a lot of paella, empanadas, and croquettes. We also happened to be staying right next to this amazing glass food market. I will be sharing travel photos from Madrid very soon!

I was admittedly very bummed when I arrived in London on Thursday and it was super rainy. I bundled up and dealt with it, but my last day there was surprisingly so nice and even sunny! Believe it or I hadn’t really felt the sun on my face for at least six weeks, since Copenhagen is so dark in the wintertime. It was the perfect weather, and it was actually the one day when I didn’t even really need my coat. Kind of ironic considering this is the first time I’ve ever shown you guys my winter coat! Nevertheless I was layered up in some black + grey pieces for a day of exploring.

Besides the weather, I was especially happy because I got to hang out with my friend Steph who was also visting London. I hadn’t seen her since June because she’s been abroad in Florence, so we had a great time! We spent the day seeing Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, and then we went to an exhibit on 3d printing before going to the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park. I’ll be sharing photos from that day soon because it was finally dry enough to use my good camera! Thanks for reading today guys, see you tomorrow! x. Paige

The last thing on the to-do list for my parents stay in Copenhagen was to explore Christianshavn and make a stop in Christiania. This “free town” is notable for having no government, resulting in legalized selling of weed. This tends to draw the tourists in so they can see for themselves, but what I love the most about this little island town is all of the street paintings and sculpture. Walking through Christiania, there are countless wall murals, welded structures, and mosaic pieces. Since I knew we were heading there today, I decided to dress colorfully as well.

Whenever I wear this fun tank, I can’t help but pair it with a flannel. In fact, I styled it similarly back in the spring when I was in California. Except this time around, I was wearing a big coat over the look of course! It’s been so cold in Copenhagen lately. Usually I can handle it, but I must admit I’m really grateful to be heading off to some warmer locales on Monday. More on that soon! x. Paige

I’m back in Copenhagen! Today was spent running some errands like hitting up the laundromat, washing all of the clothes I traveled in. I forgot to touch base with you guys [oops] before heading out, but we went to Germany for the holidays with my parents on the 21st! We spent our time in Pulheim, Germany near Dusseldorf, and had just the best time. We have a ton of relatives there, most of which I hadn’t seen in seven years! It was so great to see everyone and celebrate Christmas together, and even meet some of my family I had never met before if you can believe that. I hope that you had a happy holiday as well, and it’s good to be back at blogging!

I have a few new items in my wardrobe after Black Friday + Christmas festivities, and today I felt like wearing them all at once for one rad look. I snagged this UNIF tank that I’ve loved for ages on Black Friday, and am loving the oversized fit since I decided to size up. I paired it with other favorite pieces, including my Christmas present, these amazing Dr. Marten’s boots! I would normally only buy shoes in black to be safe, but I am so happy I chose the grey pair. They are still completely neutral, but just break up the tons of black that I wear. See you tomorrow guys, x. Paige

Perched nine stories above Copenhagen’s harbor…you would think I’d be wearing something glamorous right? Think again. It’s the holiday season and I’m all about being cozy this winter. I was worried about lacking in the festive wear department, but leave it to my mom to gift me this rad skull sweater once she got into town. Everyone loves sporting an ugly Christmas sweater these days, but I prefer to take the comedic route and this one is playful but not something a grandma would wear.

As promised the other day, here is the view from our hotel room. Killer right? You can see Christianshavn, all of Islands Brygge, and part of Amager. Showing my parents around Copenhagen has made me feel like it’s truly my home because I can navigate it so well, but it also shows me how many more places I have left to explore. So thankful to have another semester to do that!

Don’t miss today’s outfit details below, and I’ll see you guys tomorrow! x. Paige

I feel like I’ve been putting “cozy” into the title of, like, all my blog posts lately…but I just can’t help it! With my parents in town, we have been doing all of the classic Copenhagen stuff, and it’s given me the chance to really appreciate the holiday decorations and events in the city. Tonight we saw a choir perform Handel’s Messiah at a church in the city called Helligåndskirken. Besides being a little under dressed [oops!] it was really fun. Then we heard music on our bike ride home, and it was coming from Tivoli’s nightly light show which we peeked at through the fence. Tivoli is Copenhagen’s amusement park which you can see in the background of these photos! It is the oldest in the world and was Walt Disney’s inspiration for a certain American park we all love. Passing by all of the lights inside Tivoli every night has been so sparkly, making me feel all cozy and christmassy.

Lately you have been seeing me wear a lot of leggings, and you may think that they’re not the best choice for such a cold winter location. But think again! My aunt gifted me three pairs of fleece-lined leggings, and boy was I missing out! They’ve given me another way to stay cozy. I’m rocking the grey pair today and loved the change from my usual black and how they complimented my grey/oxblood toned socks. I think I’m finally becoming a pro at this whole cold climate thing…

Thanks for reading today guys, and I hope you’re full of holiday spirit as well! x. Paige

So my semester has officially ended, and my parents are in Copenhagen for the week! I am showing them all around the city, and on Saturday we leave for Germany to celebrate Christmas with the family we have there. Their visit means I’ve moved all out of my apartment and am living in luxury this week…and to clarify when I say luxury, I mean sleeping in bed larger than a twin! Anyway, our hotel room has an amazing view of Copenhagen’s harbor front. I have actually never seen the harbor from above like this and it’s just picture perfect. I love standing at the window and spotting all of the different buildings and monuments along the water. I will have to share a photo daytime of it sometime this week!

My favorite part of today’s outfit are these rad leggings I picked up on Black Friday! I’ve honestly eyed them for like 2 years, because I’m such an avid bargain shopper, but couldn’t resist the discount. I love that they’re more interesting than plain black leggings, which can get a little boring. I love the grungy look they have when paired with a flannel and buckle combat boots. Today I biked all around the city with my parents, so I just threw on a cardigan, my coat, and gloves, and was good to go! What are you wearing this winter? x. Paige
